Aizuri Quartet at the Hôtel de Talleyrand

The Arts Arena is honored to present each year an award to musicians selected by the faculty of the renowned Curtis Institute of Music, one of the world’s finest conservatories, and to offer them a concert in Paris. This year’s winner is the Aizuri Quartet, an all-female string quartet in residence at Curtis, whose members have studied at Curtis and the Juilliard School, participated in the Marlboro and Caramoor festivals, as well as the Ravinia Festival’s Steans Music Institute, where they were quartet in residence in 2014. The quartet was also a finalist in the 2014 Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition. Miho Saegusa, violin, Zoë Martin-Doike, violin, Ayane Kozasa, viola, and Karen Ouzounian, cello. will play a program of Beethoven, Janáček, and Mozart.
