We regret to announce that this event is being rescheduled due to the Omicron outbreak in France and in the United States.

American artist Sheila Hicks has exhibited globally, including a 2018 solo at Centre Pompidou and a major retrospective “Sheila Hicks: 50 Years” at the Addison Gallery of American Art. Her work is in the collections of such major museums as the Met, MoMA, The Art Institute of Chicago, National Gallery of Art, Smithsonian, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Tate, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, and the Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo. She has received honorary doctorates from Rhode Island school of Design, Yale, and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts,was the Textile Museum’s 25 Year Honoree, the recipient of the Smithsonian’s Lifetime Achievement Award and of the French Academy of Architecture’s Silver Medal. She is Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

Ms. Hicks will be presented by and in conversation with noted contemporary art curator, critic, author, and painter Robert Storr, formerly Senior Curator at MoMA, Commissioner of the Venice Biennale, and Dean of the Yale School of Art.
