Award-winning opera and stage director Robert Carsen has been commissioned by the world’s most celebrated opera houses and festivals, among them Covent Garden, La Scala, La Monnaie, Glyndebourne, La Fenice, the Salzburg Festival, the Metropolitan Opera, and repeatedly the Opéra national de Paris. His other productions include the blockbuster Singin’ in the Rain (Châtelet, Grand Palais), The Tempest (Comédie Française), and this month Beggar’s Opera with William Christie and Les Arts Florissants at Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord.

This renowned director of opera, musicals, and theater will be in conversation with Arts Arena founder and artistic director, Margery Arent Safir.
