NATALIA KAZARYAN, PIANIST

Playing the Old Canon and the New

06 November 2023 | 19:00 – 22:00

Location: Columbia Global Centers | Paris, 4 rue de Chevreuse, Paris 6e

A graduate of the Julliard School, pianist Natalia Kazaryan has performed at The Phillips Collection, the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery, the National Symphony Orchestra, National Orchestral Institute, and elsewhere, combining her love of the classical music canon with works by women composers and other underrepresented groups. In addition to Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 23 in F minor, Op. 57 “Appassionata,” she will play a musical program featuring award-winning composers Vivian Fung, George Walker, the first African American composer to win a Pulitzer Prize for Music, and Grażyna Bacewicz.

The Arts Arena is grateful to an anonymous donor for making it possible for us to bring Ms. Kazaryan and this exceptional program to the Arts Arena.
