RESCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 4
Sculptor and opera director Alexander Polzin returns to the Arts Arena, where in 2016 he spoke on the eve of the inauguration of his public sculpture of the poet Paul Celan by the Ville de Paris. This time we will show videos of his new music-dance-sculpture work presented at the 92nd Street Y in New York City as well as excerpts from his 2019 production of Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde at La Monnaie de Brussels. The artist will be in conversation with Arts Arena Founder and Artistic Director Margery Arent Safir and will also take questions from the audience.
A coupe de champagne follows.
