An honors graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, at age 31, painter Alexandre Lenoir has been the recipient of the Prix Thaddaeus Ropac, the Prix Marie-Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre, the Prix Jean François, and the Prix Pierre Cardin de l’Académie des Beaux-Arts for his multi-layered paintings of color washes combined with an elaborate technique of stencilling. His works have been shown from Paris to New York to China and are in international collections including the Musée d’Art Contemporain de la Ville de Paris and the HE Art Museum in China.
