“Matisse, 1941-1954” – Commissioner Claudine Grammont

Claudine Grammont, Head of the Department of Graphic Arts at Centre Pompidou and a world renowned specialist on Matisse, is the Commissioner of “Matisse, 1941–1954,” the major exhibition opening at the Grand Palais on March 24. Highlighting the artist’s final years of creation, the exibition will feature cut-out gouaches, paintings, drawings, illustrated books, textiles, and stained glass.   

In advance of this exceptional show, Claudine Grammont will speak about the artist and this upcoming exhibition, which Cercle d’art calls “l’un des plus grands evenements artistiques de l’année.”  A coupe de champagne will follow.
