Hailed as one of the stellar choreographies of our time, Le Sacre du Printemps was first shown at the Théâtre du Champs Elysees in 1913, choreographed by Nijinsky at the peak of Les Ballets Russes. The first screening of Le Sacre was filmed and interpreted by Maurice Béjart in 1970. Following a screening of the Béjart piece, there will be a screening of Le Sacre du Printemps by the renowned contemporary choreographer Pina Bausch.
